Dr. Anna L. Baker graduated first in her class from The Florida Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1998. She is nationally Board Certified and fully licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the state of Florida. She established a family practice in Sarasota that same year. In 1999, she studied scalp acupuncture for facelift and went on to develop her own unique acupuncture face and necklift which led to her founding Faces by Dr. Anna.

Dr. Anna also holds a Masters degree in Ceramic Engineering and a Bachelors in Geology from Ohio State University. She had a 14 year career as an aerospace research and development engineer and holds 21 U.S. Patents for light weight ceramic materials. She had to leave this work when she developed severe chemical sensitivities.

Dr. Anna uses her scientific training to document her unique treatment. She has meticulously photographed the results of every treatment she has done and has a data base of over 400 patients. She has learned a tremendous amount about facial aging by watching it recede. Currently she is searching for software that will utilize her data to predict how a person's face will reverse with her procedure.
